Yule Goat

The Yule Goat was the bringer of gifts in Swedish homes before it was largely replaced by the Yule Tomte, and possibly has roots going back to pre-Christian times. It is still one of the major Christmas motifs in Sweden, often in the form of a straw goat placed under the Christmas tree.
