Last summer in Keswick

Last summer we went on holiday to Keswick in the Lake District. The main reason I wanted to go there is because there’s a beautiful lake with rowboats for hire, and I looove rowing.

I grew up rowing my grandparents’ rowboat around the lake where my extended family had a summer cabin on an island, and it’s something I’ve been missing ever since.

Here are a few photos from our trip!

The first thing we saw when we headed into town was a small grotto! Grottoes are one of my major interests and I love to seek them out, but this was purely accidental.

I love King Kong and have to have my picture taken with all the King Kongs I meet. This one was tethered outside a hiking gear store. I missed a trick by not showing off my nails in the photo though since we were wearing the same varnish :D

Rowing!
