One of three Buster Keaton dolls.

These dolls are entirely handmade, from the hand-sculpted and hand-cast resin heads, hands and feet to each tiny little garment. Each doll is completely one of a kind, and they all have different facial expressions.

Apart from the felt for the hats, all the fabrics used are second hand scraps and remnants. To get the look of Buster's shabby suit I purposely chose somewhat worn and stained fabric (no gross stains I promise, just paint and glue and that sort of thing!). The hair is made from sheep's wool.

The hats are removable.

The dolls have wire skeletons and with the exception of the neck being in a fixed position, they are fully posable (within limits!). Take care not to put any pressure on the fingers when repositioning the hands. The dolls are sturdy, but tiny, thin resin pieces can snap.

If posed appropriately the dolls can stand up without assistance, but you may still want to use a stand or something to secure them on display in case of playful cats, earthquakes, wobbly shelves and the like!
