Holiday card featuring traditional Swedish Easter witches.
Easter witches are a major part of the Swedish Easter tradition. They're a remainder from a time when witches were thought to ride to their sabbath on Maundy Thursday, which was held on a mythical mountain called Blåkulla ("Blue Hill").
These days witches are one of the main motifs on Easter cards and decorations, and on Maundy Thursday children dress up as witches and go from door to door, distributing homemade Easter cards in exchange for sweets or money.
Professionally printed on matte heavy card. The back is blank.
