How to commission

Johanna takes commissions. Pricing examples can be found below. Contact Johanna with your commission details for a quote.

Photos of portrait subjects can be sent over the Internet or by regular mail. Obviously, a more detailed picture makes for a better likeness.

Please be specific with the things you concider important, as a redrawing fee will usually be charged if you want the commission redrawn.

You can see the preliminary sketches, to approve or reject, on request.

Expect the commission to take about two weeks, depending on workload. If there is a deadline, let Johanna know.

Payment should be in advance. Johanna will get back to you with payment instructions. You can read more about how to pay.

Pricing examples

These are just some examples. You can commission pretty much anything drawn, painted or sculpted. Pricing may vary with degree of detail, size, material, and usage rights. The prices listed are not necessarily what these pieces were commissioned for, but what such a commission would cost today.

Prices below are for the original picture, without any public or commercial usage rights beyond those given to everyone by the rules for using images. The complete copyright is usually (an additional) four times the commission price.
